Our Camp
Peyper Fields Creekside Camp is located in the charming village of Newark Valley, NY in the gateway to the Finger Lakes! Nestled in the trees next to the babbling water of the East Owego Creek, Peyper Fields is a glamping experience to be remembered. The 9-acre campground offers ten fully furnished safari tents on composite decking and ten primitive sites to pitch your own tent or bring a pop-up camper. Our large field will provide plenty of opportunities for entertainment including volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, ladder ball, and communal fire pits. Hikers will love the trail to the Sycamore Bridge along the stream and fishermen can cast in the stocked stream or go to the trout ponds down the street.
Our Tents
Our luxury glamping tents will welcome you with queen-size beds, hotel-style bedding, coolers, and quaint furnishings. The tents are on elevated decks with a porch and chairs. Each campsite is provided with a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. Centrally located is a large bathhouse with four showers and four toilets. There is a large recreational field perfect for supplied games such as cornhole, badminton, horseshoes, bocce, or your own! Parking is available at each site for 1 vehicle. Auxiliary parking is available nearby.
Our Facilities
While onsite you have access to our brand-new bathhouse, equipped with spacious showers, floor-to-ceiling private stalls, and plenty of outlets inside and out for your charging needs. There is also a public utility sink on the front deck for any necessary cleanups during your stay. If you experience inclement weather during your stay all guests are welcome in our recently remodeled game room. We have a small library and plenty of board and card games to enjoy.
Our Activities
Included in your stay is a variety of outdoor activities and spaces. Our access to the Owego creek provides opportunities to fish, tube, kayak, or swim all day long. Not to mention our creekside walking trails which surround you in the lovely tree cover our guests have come to enjoy. We also have a host of field games available to all guests including cornhole, volleyball, and ladder ball. Our large field presents a great space for kickball, soccer, or to just kick back and enjoy the weather!
